What Makes DBSA Unique
DBSA is led by and created for individuals living with a mood disorder, and that experience informs everything that we do.
The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) is the leading peer-directed national organization focusing on the two most prevalent mental health conditions, depression and bipolar disorder, which affect more than 21 million Americans, account for 90% of the nation’s suicides every year, and cost $23 billion in lost workdays and other workplace losses.DBSA’s peer-based, wellness-oriented, and empowering services and resources are available when people need them, where they need them, and how they need to receive them—online 24/7, in local support groups, in audio and video casts, or in printed materials distributed by DBSA, our chapters, and mental health care facilities across America.Through more than 700 support groups and nearly 300 chapters, DBSA reaches millions of people each year with in-person and online peer support; current, readily understandableinformation about depression and bipolar disorder; and empowering tools focused on an integrated approach to wellness..

Self-Awareness through Art Therapy
Every Tuesday from 3:00pm-5:00pm
Facilitator: Kenneth Williams
The Art Group is open to anyone who wishes to attend. The emphasis is on process and the making of authentic images; not on the participant’s artistic abilities. By using our creativity and engaging the making of the image, healing is a natural benefit from the process. Supporting each other in our healing journey and exploring more of who we are is the road to wellness. We are all spiritual beings having a human experience.

All Recovery Meetings are based on the philosophy that people from every addiction recovery pathway have much in common and can benefit from sharing together. These meetings offer a place where people can share their addiction recovery experiences, with an emphasis on the hope and healing of recovery and how recovery has changed our lives, regardless of the substance or behavior that is at the root of our addiction.
